  • Depends on the contract. Trade date if we bill off of firm values. Custodians typically use settlement date accounting so if we use custodian values then it would be settlement.

If people are using Trade date, with fixed income accruals, does anyone also include dividend accruals?

Are software provider includes dividend accruals (based on ex & record date) in their trade date market values which would seem to over-inflate the market value so we bill based on settle date (which only includes dividends that have actually paid).
